Gillotte, a third-round selection in the 2025 NFL draft, arrived with a reputation built on collegiate success. During his four years at the University of Louisville Cardinals, he amassed an impressive 26.5 sacks and 41 tackles for loss across 51 games played. Now, as he participates in his first NFL training camp, Gillotte has begun to demonstrate that same explosiveness.

The Los Angeles Rams, who finished last season with a 10-7 record and a home playoff victory before falling to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in the divisional round (28-22), are looking towards another successful campaign in 2025.  

This year, the team welcomed veteran receiver Davante Adams, bolstering their already talented roster with a major offensive weapon. The Rams signed Adams to a two-year, $44 million contract after his stint with the New York Jets last season. 

The 32-year-old wide receiver, who began his career with the Green Bay Packers, showcased his impressive skills during Saturday's training camp practice at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. The Rams shared a video of Adams scoring a touchdown and running it in with the caption: “Did someone say touchdown Tae?!”

Adams boasts an impressive resume, including three-time First-Team All-Pro honors and six Pro Bowl selections.  He has led the NFL in receiving touchdowns twice, most recently in 2022 with 14 scores, and recorded a career-high 18 receiving touchdowns in 2020. His tenure with the Packers ended in 2021 with a career-high 123 receptions. Following his time in Green Bay, he played 37 games with the Las Vegas Raiders before being traded after three games in 2024. He finished last season with the New York Jets, recording seven touchdown receptions in 11 games. Adams enters the 2025 season with 103 career touchdown catches.

While his touchdown in Saturday's practice came from backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, Adams will primarily be playing alongside Matthew Stafford. The Rams’ receiving corps looks different without Cooper Kupp, but Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell remain projected starters.

**Chicago Bears Training Camp - Day 5** - The Chicago Bears officially ramped up their training camp Monday, adding pads and physicality to the drills for the first time this summer. While the humid conditions had players sweating from the start, the intensity was palpable as rookies and veterans alike battled it out on the field.

###  Luther Burden's Return Brings Excitement 

After missing the first four days due to a spring leg injury, rookie wide receiver Luther Burden finally made his debut Monday. Though limited to warm-up drills and agility work, Burden looked quick and agile, showing no signs of lingering issues. His return is a welcome boost for a Bears offense eager to see what he can bring to the table.

With pads on, the Bears focused heavily on their ground game. Grady Jarrett dominated Jonah Jackson early on, while Chris Williams consistently outmaneuvered All-Pro Joe Thuney. Kiran Amegadjie held his ground against edge rushers, with Braxton Jones, Ozzy Trapilo, and Amegadjie all seeing time at starting left tackle. Andrew Billings proved too much for rookie Luke Newman, while Daniel Hardy flashed potential over the right tackle. Gervon Dexter emerged victorious in a battle against Drew Dalman.

### Center Exchanges Still Finding Their Rhythm 

With Doug Kramer sidelined due to a leg injury, the Bears shuffled their center rotation. Luke Newman stepped up as the No. 2 center, working with veteran Case Keenum. However, both Newman and Dalman struggled with snap exchanges throughout practice.

Running backs coach Eric Bieniemy commanded attention on the field with his energetic coaching style. Terell Smith and Tyrique Stevenson shared starting cornerback duties, while Nahshon Wright continued to fill in for Jaylon Johnson. **Pittsburgh's training camp took a breather on Monday, but the team was still busy behind the scenes.** After four consecutive practices in pads, the Steelers allowed their players a much-needed day of rest. 

While the players enjoyed some downtime, coaches kept the momentum going by bringing in five free agents for workouts:

**Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans fear the worst as promising rookie faces a potential setback.**


The Tampa Bay Buccaneers began Day 3 of training camp in relatively good health, with only Tristan Wirfs' pre-camp knee situation looming. That changed swiftly when fourth-round draft pick David Walker went down with what appeared to be a knee injury early in practice.

Walker was seen favoring his knee and limping off the field before heading straight to the locker room with the assistance of medical staff. 

“It was hard to tell how serious the injury was, but he was clearly favoring his knee. The medical staff was on him quickly and assisted him to the locker room," reported Fan Stream Sports - Tampa Bay's JP Peterson, who witnessed the incident.


Walker had been generating significant excitement throughout the offseason, touted by many as a key addition to a Buccaneers defense that struggled with pass rush last year.

Hall of Famer Ronde Barber, a former teammate of some legendary pass rushers, believes Walker possesses a similar potential. 

“Our No. 1 impact rookie, you might not believe this — it is David Walker,” said Barber. “I didn’t know anything about him until we picked him, and then you go and look at what he did… when you put the film on, you’re like, ‘Holy cow, this dude has the mentality.’ It’s kinda like this underdog mentality that makes people respect him.”

Barber drew comparisons between Walker and former teammate Simeon Rice, who significantly bolstered the Buccaneers' defensive line during Barber's tenure.  “I’m not making [this] comparison, certainly, to David Walker. But when the Bucs got really good when I was playing, it’s because we went out and got Simeon Rice,” Barber said. “And we dominated teams after that because of the pressure generated from the edge of our d-line. We need someone to do that, and I’m not putting a lot of pressure on him, but David Walker looks like a guy who could do that.”

Jaxson Dart, the New York Giants' rookie quarterback, turned heads Sunday with his most impressive performance of training camp.  Reports from the Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford described Dart as having his "best practice of training camp" to date.

"I can definitely feel a difference in the first day to even today. Just that the game's starting to slow down a little bit, the more that I get comfortable with the plays and the system. So just trying to take advantage of the opportunities that I get. Trying to study late as much as I can," Dart explained.

With Monday bringing the Giants' first padded practice, all eyes will be on Dart as he seeks to continue his impressive run in training camp's second week.
