GENEVA, Switzerland - Top United Nations aid agencies issued a dire warning Tuesday about the situation in Gaza. They called for an immediate and massive influx of food aid, emphasizing that "time is running out" and the Palestinian territory is "on the brink of a full-scale famine."

“We need to flood Gaza with large-scale food aid, immediately and without obstruction, and keep it flowing each and every [….]” said a spokesperson for the UN agencies.
