Udinese Set to Capture Polish Midfielder Piotrowski

Udinese are nearing a deal for Polish international midfielder Jakub Piotrowski from Ludogorets.

Italian reports, including Tuttomercatoweb and Sportitalia, indicate that an agreement is in place for the transfer of the 27-year-old. Piotrowski's contract with Ludogorets is set to expire in a few months, making him available for approximately €3 million.

Piotrowski Ready for Serie A Challenge

The midfielder has enjoyed success with Ludogorets, captaining the team and contributing significantly to their campaign in the Champions League qualifiers. Ludogorets recently overcame Dinamo Minsk in extra time and await the second leg of their clash with HNK Rijeka before allowing Piotrowski to travel for his medical with Udinese.

A Proven Track Record

Piotrowski boasts 12 senior caps for Poland, scoring two goals and providing one assist for his national team. His football journey has taken him from Polish roots to KRC Genk, Waasland-Beveren, Fortuna Dusseldorf, and finally Ludogorets in the summer of 2022 for €1.3 million.
