Pedulla – Cagliari Pushing To Sign Inter Milan Striker In €7M Deal

Cagliari Set Sights on €7M Inter Striker

Sardinian Club Leading Race for Young Forward

Cagliari are leading the charge to sign Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito this summer, aiming for a deal worth around €7 million. This comes according to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

The 23-year-old Italian Under-21 forward spent last season on loan with Empoli, but the Tuscans opted not to make the move permanent. Esposito subsequently traveled with the Inter squad to the United States for the Club World Cup, appearing in all four matches and starting two.

While several clubs have expressed interest in Esposito, including Fiorentina, Cagliari appear to be the most serious contenders. Inter are reportedly considering using Esposito as part of a cash-plus-player offer to Parma for defender Giovanni Leoni.

Esposito's Future Uncertain

It seems increasingly likely that Esposito will depart Inter this summer. Cagliari's strong interest and reported €7 million bid suggest they may be close to securing his signature.
