Strasbourg Snags Argentine Starlet Panichelli for €20 Million

Bundesliga side lands prolific striker ahead of Europa Conference League campaign.

Strasbourg Alsace have secured the signature of rising Argentine star Joaquin Panichelli (22), signing him to a five-year contract.

Panichelli's impressive form last season on loan at Spanish second division club Mirandés caught the eye of many suitors. He tallied an impressive 21 goals and eight assists in 44 appearances across all competitions, propelling Deportivo Alavés – his parent club – to a significant transfer fee.

The deal is worth €16.5 million upfront, with an additional €3.5 million in bonuses, reaching a total of €20 million – matching the player's release clause.

Panichelli will join Strasbourg's pre-season training camp in Austria on Monday alongside the rest of his new teammates. Les Alsaciens are gearing up for their Europa Conference League campaign next season.
