Spain's appetite for Moroccan tomatoes is growing fast. Data from Spain’s Foreign Trade Institute (ICEX) and the Spanish Tax Agency reveal a staggering 40.33% increase in exports during the 2024–2025 agricultural season. Between June 2024 and May 2025, Spain imported nearly 80.29 million kilograms of Moroccan tomatoes, generating €115.35 million in revenue.

This surge in exports highlights the growing economic partnership between Morocco and Spain, particularly in the agricultural sector.
