Exports to Germany Skyrocket, Cementing Country's Global Presence

Morocco has significantly expanded its presence in the European pepper market, solidifying its position as a leading global supplier. According to UN COMTRADE data analyzed by agriculture analytics platform Hortoinfo, Moroccan pepper exports to Germany surged to 100.03 million kilograms in 2024. This represents a remarkable 436.6 percent increase over the past decade, propelling Morocco to the third spot in the market behind Spain (465.26 million kg) and Italy (189.97 million kg).
