Kouda Commits to Spezia for Second Loan Spell

Midfielder Impresses in Serie B Debut Season

After a successful loan spell at Spezia Calcio, Rachid Kouda will return to the club for another season. The Italian-Burkinabe midfielder, currently under contract with Parma until June 2028, has impressed during his time in Serie B.

Kouda contributed three goals and three assists in 17 appearances for Spezia last season, convincing the club's management to extend his loan agreement. His journey began at Caratese before a loan stint with Cagliari U19 and a subsequent move to Picerno. The 23-year-old has established himself primarily at Spezia, competing in Italy's second division.

Spezia kicks off its Serie B campaign against Carrarese Calcio 1908 on Sunday, August 24, 2025. The club faces Sampdoria in the first round of the Coppa Italia on Monday, August 18, 2025.
