Algerian Star Joins Newly Promoted Amanat Baghdad for One Season
Sofiane Feghouli has taken his career in an unexpected direction, joining newly promoted Amanat Baghdad in the Iraqi Premier League for a one-season deal. The transfer fee is reported to be close to 200,000 euros.
The move comes after a period of inactivity for the Algerian star, who previously played for notable clubs like Valencia (Spain), Galatasaray (Turkey), and West Ham United (England).
Amanat Baghdad announced Feghouli's arrival on their official Facebook page, stating: "From European pitches to the heart of the capital, our new player Sofiane Feghouli officially joins the team.
