Young Star Signs with FCSM: Aboubacar Sidibé Pens Professional Deal
Malien Talent Commits to Club Through 2028
FC Sochaux-Montbéliard has announced the signing of promising young talent Aboubacar Sidibé to his first professional contract. The deal, which runs through 2028, sees the 19-year-old Malian center-back solidify his place within the club's structure.
From Academy Prodigy to Professional:
Sidibé joined FCSM in 2024 from the Africa Foot academy and quickly made an impact. His impressive performances at both the U19 National level (20 matches, 4 goals) and with the reserve team in National 3 (4 appearances, 2 goals) have earned him a spot on the senior roster.
He even received his first call-up to the senior squad for the away trip to Boulogne on May 2, 2025, and participated fully in the 2025-2026 preseason with the first team.
"FC Sochaux-Montbéliard is delighted to announce the signing of Aboubacar Sidibé’s first professional contract. The 19-year-old Malian forward, who joined in 2024 from the Africa Foot academy, has committed to FCSM through 2028,” reads the statement released by the club.
This signing marks a significant step forward in Sidibé's career and sets the stage for an exciting future with FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
