## Moroccan Provinces Brace for Scorching Heat and Wild Weather 

**Orange Alert Issued as Heatwave, Storms Combine Threat**

A potent mix of scorching heat and severe weather is set to grip several Moroccan provinces from Thursday to Sunday. The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) issued an orange-level alert, warning of potential hazards.  

Temperatures are forecast to soar in Tata, Taroudant, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Oued Ed-Dahab, Laayoune, Dakhla, and Adrar provinces, reaching a blistering 44 - 47°C between Thursday and Sunday.

**Dangerous Conditions on the Horizon**

Adding to the heatwave's severity, the DGM predicts stormy showers accompanied by hailstorms and powerful substorm wind gusts. These conditions could pose risks to life and property.

**Heatwave expected to peak at 47°C, thunderstorms with hail and strong winds also predicted.**

A scorching heatwave is set to sweep across several Moroccan provinces from Wednesday to Saturday, bringing temperatures as high as 47°C. The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) has issued an orange alert warning of the intense heat, which will be accompanied by thunderstorms producing hail and strong substorm winds.
