WOLFSBURG, Germany — U.S. winger Kevin Paredes will be sidelined for the foreseeable future after undergoing successful foot surgery on Monday. The 22-year-old, born in Virginia, is no stranger to injury setbacks, having missed nearly all of last season due to a previous foot problem.

Wolfsburg confirmed the operation but did not disclose whether this latest procedure was related to his prior injury. Despite showing promise as both a Wolfsburg and U.S. national team player after his debut in 2023, Paredes has been hampered by recurring injuries.
