Teen Shoots Three in Times Square
Three people were wounded in a shooting at New York City's Times Square early Saturday morning, authorities said. The incident occurred around 1:20 am following a "verbal altercation," according to an NYPD spokesperson.
A 19-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, while a 23-year-old man was shot in the foot, police said. An 18-year-old woman also sustained injuries when her neck was grazed by gunfire. All three victims were transported to local hospitals and are expected to survive.
The suspect, identified as a 17-year-old male, fled the scene on foot after the shooting but remains at large. The NYPD is actively investigating the incident and urging anyone with information to come forward.
