Reversing Cancer: South Korean Scientists Turn Tumor Cells Back to Normal

A groundbreaking new technique could revolutionize cancer treatment. Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have developed a method called REVERT that reprograms cancerous cells back into healthy ones.

Different From Traditional Methods:
REVERT stands in stark contrast to conventional treatments like chemotherapy and radiation, which primarily focus on destroying cancerous cells. Instead, this innovative approach seeks to reverse the cellular mutations that drive cancer growth.

"Unlike traditional treatments that aim to kill cancer cells, REVERT reprogrammes them back into normal, healthy cells," said a KAIST researcher.
