Morocco is bolstering its airspace security with a $10 million investment in cutting-edge radar technology. The National Airports Office (ONDA) unveiled a strategic project Wednesday to install next-generation Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) Mode S systems across five critical locations: Oujda, Tan-Tan, Marrakech, Nador, and Agadir.
“This modernization of our air traffic surveillance system is crucial to meet the increasing demands of Moroccan aviation,” a senior ONDA official said.
