Morocco’s Justice Minister Abdellatif Ouahbi has declared that requiring civil servants to present exit permits when traveling abroad is both “illegal and unconstitutional.”

Speaking during the peak summer travel season, Ouahbi emphasized that this practice violates Article 24 of Morocco’s Constitution, which guarantees citizens the right to free movement.
