Mike Macdonald: We have a plan for Kenneth Walker to be ready for season

Coach Sticks to Plan Despite Running Back's Absence
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker sat out practice for the second consecutive day on Monday, but head coach Mike Macdonald insists it's all part of a deliberate strategy to ensure Walker is fully prepared for the regular season.
Walker had previously dealt with foot soreness during training camp, and Macdonald emphasized that this planned rest is crucial for managing his workload as September approaches.
"We have a plan for Ken, and we're sticking to the plan," Walker stated, according to ESPN's Brady Henderson.
Neither Walker nor backup Zach Charbonnet saw any action in Seattle's preseason opener against the Las Vegas Raiders. George Holani, Jacardia Wright, Anthony Tyus, and Damien Martinez shared the running back responsibilities in their absence.
Elsewhere on the injury front, center Olu Oluwatimi remains sidelined by a back injury. This absence has opened the door for Jalen Sundell to handle first-team duties at the position.
