Scott Riccardi, a 26-year-old mechanical engineer from Somerville, isn't just celebrating his record-breaking "Jeopardy!" run — he's taking the field. Riccardi, who finished his 16-game winning streak on July 25, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Somerset Patriots game on August 7th.

His reign as "Jeopardy!" champion made him the longest-running and highest-earning player of season 41 in regular play. He amassed a total of $455,000 during his impressive streak, securing his place as the 18th super-champion in the show's history.
