Thousands of Moroccans and expats have descended upon Tetouan and its Mediterranean shores since early August, turning the northern city into one of the summer's hottest spots.  

**Roads Gridlocked by Summer Rush**

The influx of tourists has brought gridlock to Tetouan's roads, with city entrances experiencing significant delays. 

"The traffic is unbearable," said one local resident who spoke on condition of anonymity. "It takes twice as long to get anywhere."


While the surge highlights the area's undeniable appeal, it also exposes the strain placed on the city's infrastructure during peak season.
