**A blaze at Nasiriyah Central Prison has claimed the lives of 27 inmates, sparking outrage from a Moroccan families' group demanding answers.**


The National Coordination of Families of the Detained and Stranded in Syria and Iraq has denounced the fire as a "full-fledged crime" and a blatant violation of human rights.

“We are deeply concerned about the safety of Moroccan detainees held in Nasiriyah Central Prison,” said a spokesperson for the group. 


 The devastating fire leaves families grappling with unanswered questions and mounting fear for their loved ones’ well-being.
