ANGER is brewing in Tangier after shocking photos and videos surfaced on social media, exposing the grim reality of pollution plaguing many of the city’s beaches. 

Residents and vacationers alike have expressed their dismay over the deteriorating state of beloved stretches like Merkala, the municipal beach, and Ghendouri. 

Environmental expert Ahmed Talhi warns that these beaches have long been classified as polluted.
