## Moroccan Troops March in Ivory Coast Independence Parade

**Rabat – A detachment of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) participated in Côte d'Ivoire's 65th independence anniversary celebrations on August 7th, marking a testament to strong bilateral ties between Morocco and the West African nation. **

The FAR contingent, drawn from the 1st Parachute Infantry Brigade, marched alongside Ivorian troops during the grand parade held in Abidjan, showcasing their military prowess and fostering collaboration.  


**A Royal Order**


This participation followed an official invitation extended to Morocco by Côte d'Ivoire's government. The deployment of the FAR detachment was a direct order from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
