A new report published in *Youth Issues*, a government-run journal, warns that Morocco’s political parties risk further alienation from the country's youth unless they embrace significant change. Led by political science expert Jamal Chaari, the study paints a grim picture of growing disengagement among young Moroccans from the political process. 

**Bridging the Gap: Calls for Renewed Leadership**

The report urges Moroccan parties to overhaul their leadership structures and empower younger generations within their ranks. It argues that this lack of representation is directly contributing to the erosion of trust between young people and established political institutions.  


“If Moroccan political parties want to rebuild trust among young Moroccans, they need to revitalize their leadership,” Chaari stated. “Giving more power to young voices is crucial to bridging this growing gap.”
