## Could Son Debut? LAFC Meets Chicago in Crucial Match

Los Angeles FC and Chicago Fire square off on Saturday, August 9, at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois.  Kick-off is set for 5:30 p.m. PT / 7:30 p.m. CT / 8:30 p.m. ET. The matchup has major playoff implications for both clubs vying for a spot in the MLS postseason.

Fans eagerly await the potential debut of LAFC's newest star signing, Son Heung-min. The South Korean international completed his move from Tottenham earlier this week. While LAFC confirmed his debut hinges on finalizing his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate, there’s optimism he could be cleared in time for Saturday's match.

“It’s a big moment for the club,” said LAFC head coach Steve Cherundolo, adding that Son could play if paperwork is completed in time. Son has stated he's fit after preseason and aims to adapt quickly to MLS.
