**International Organizations Cite Ailing Father as Urgent Humanitarian Need**

A coalition of prominent human rights organizations, joined by a UN official, is urging Moroccan authorities to release Nasser Zefzafi, the imprisoned leader of the Hirak al-Rif protest movement.  The plea centers on Zefzafi's need to care for his seriously ill father. 

The appeal, signed by Freedom House, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, MENA Rights Group, and the International Service [ ... ], stresses the humanitarian urgency of Zefzafi's situation. They argue that his presence is crucial to providing support and comfort during this difficult time for his family.
