Fact-checking platform Ghirbal has exposed a wave of misleading videos circulating on social media that falsely portray migrants from sub-Saharan Africa as violent criminals in Morocco. These clips, often amplified with hashtags like #NoToSettlingSubSaharanAfricans and #ApplyLaw02_03, have been taken out of context or originate from unrelated events happening abroad. 

Among the widely circulated posts, Ghirbal identified several instances where footage was deceptively edited to create a narrative of violence linked to sub-Saharan African migrants. “These videos are designed to stoke fear and prejudice against a vulnerable group,” said [Ghirbal spokesperson’s name]. “They exploit existing anxieties and contribute to a harmful climate of misinformation.”
