##  Morocco Cracks Top 10 in Global Food Self-Sufficiency Rankings

**Kingdom Ranks High Among African Nations**

A recent study published by Nature Food, titled “Gap between national food production and food-based dietary guidance highlights lack of national self-sufficiency,” has placed Morocco among the world’s top 50 most food self-sufficient countries. 

The Kingdom secured the 8th spot among eight African nations included in the global list, highlighting its strong performance in food security.  

The study assessed food self-sufficiency across 186 countries, providing a comprehensive picture of global food production and consumption patterns.
