Washington – Duke Buchan III, the newly appointed U.S. ambassador to Morocco, praised King Mohammed VI during his confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Tuesday.

Buchan described the Moroccan monarch as “a valued leader and a friend of the United States.” He further emphasized the Kingdom of Morocco's crucial role as "a pillar of stability" in the region.
