A security researcher has revealed critical vulnerabilities in a car manufacturer's centralized dealer portal, exposing sensitive customer and vehicle data to potential hackers.
Eaton Zveare, the researcher who uncovered these flaws, told TechCrunch that the breaches could allow unauthorized individuals to remotely take control of customer accounts and even unlock their vehicles. "With this access," Zveare warned, "a lot can be done."
