Max Eisenbud Upped to Head of Client Representation at WME Sports

Tennis Star Agent Takes Reins at WME Sports

Eisenbud to Lead Agency's Push into Action Sports and Content Creation

Max Eisenbud, a veteran tennis agent known for his work with top players like Carlos Alcaraz and Serena Williams, has been promoted to head of client representation for WME Sports. This new role sees him overseeing the agency’s business across tennis, golf, action sports, and sports content, while continuing to lead the IMG Tennis division.

Under Eisenbud's guidance, IMG Tennis has become a dominant force in the sport, representing Grand Slam champions like Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek, along with other notable figures such as John McEnroe, Andy Murray, Taylor Fritz, Ben Shelton, and Frances Tiafoe.

WME Group co-chairman Christian Muirhead praised Eisenbud's dedication and accomplishments: "There are few individuals like Max Eisenbud, an agent and a leader who is passionate, creative, and one of the hardest working people in our business. Over the past 25 years he has developed some of the world’s top tennis players and transformed IMG Tennis into the undisputed leader. Max is a natural fit to lead WME Sports into the future where we will continue to invest and grow under his leadership.”

Eisenbud's career began at IMG in 2000, where he played a key role in the commercial success of champions Maria Sharapova and Li Na. He will now lead a team at WME Sports including Lee White in sports content, Josh Levy on the broadcast group front, and Mike Zavodsky in the property solutions business.

The agency represents a wide range of figures driving the sports industry worldwide, including athletes, broadcasters, executives, and institutions. This new leadership comes as WME's parent company, Endeavor, has gone private once more through a $25 billion deal with Silver Lake, operating under the name WME Group.

This encompasses not only the WME agency but also marketing firm 160over90, IMG licensing, and unscripted studio Pantheon Media Group (formerly known as Asylum Entertainment).
