Rabat: Jamal Eddine Al Qadiri Boutchich, the Sheikh of the Tariqa Qadirya Boutchichia, has died in Rabat at the age of 83. The announcement came from the Tariqa in Madagh (Berkane province) on Friday.

Burial Sunday

The deceased will be laid to rest on Sunday at the Zaouia in Madagh, according to the same source. Born in 1942, Al Qadiri Boutchich led the influential Sufi order for decades, leaving behind a significant legacy within Morocco's religious landscape.
