Monday Forecast: Heatwave Continues With 40°C+ Expected in Several Regions

Morocco is bracing for another day of scorching temperatures, with the General Directorate of Meteorology predicting hot to locally very hot weather across much of the country on Monday.

Regions including Tadla, Rehamna, the Phosphate Plateau, Oulmes, Saiss, Gharb, Loukkos, Souss, and the southeast, as well as inland areas of southern provinces, will experience the brunt of the heat.

“Patches of fog or light drizzle are expected in the morning and at night over the northern and central coastal areas,” according to the forecast.
