France announced Friday it will temporarily halt its program accepting students from the Gaza Strip pending an investigation into how a student accused of sharing antisemitic posts was admitted to the country.

The decision follows the announcement that the female student, originally from Gaza, would be required to leave France after being identified by officials at Sciences Po university.
