EU Leaders Denounce Attack as “Murder”

The European Union has condemned the killing of five Al Jazeera journalists in an Israeli airstrike outside al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. “The EU condemns the killing of five Al Jazeera journalists in an (Israeli military) airstrike outside al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, including the Al Jazeera correspondent,” said Kaja Kallas, the bloc’s foreign policy chief on Monday.

Kallas called the incident a “murder” and demanded accountability. The attack has drawn widespread international condemnation. The names of the five journalists killed have not yet been released.
